Well where can I start! I travelled from England last year to experience 3 years in America, I came across FAU and thought I was dreaming... A Uni on a beach with a pool?? This can't be true! I was proved wrong! It's amazinnnng! I can't believe it my friends in England are all the Uni and in major debt and in soggy weather, I'm in Florida just come back from a fun week in Disney and in the sunshine and sitting at the union bar by the pool... (I could afford Disney as it is simply so much cheaper than being in England.. How daft..) The education is greeat! I love my lecturer very friendly I take Law and he also teaches English, we go out often as a class (being tiny classes its very social) to meals. Coming from England I was kind of nervous of starting in a new country but wanted the experience saving me doing a gap year. I turned up at my dorm to 5 other girls who welcomed me and found me fasinating being from England and they will be friends of mine for the rest of my life, soooo lovely and welcoming! The social life is great after being in England I was shocked to see how much friendlier people are and no stereotyping what so ever get on with pretty much everyone!!!! This is a great place. The Boca campus is five minutes from the beach, and all the hot spots between Miami and West Palm Beach are within driving distance.Ratings

The sports programs are really growing at a rapid pace. We are currently in the process of building a new on campus football stadium. The only problem with Greek Life on campus is that there is no Greek Housing. But there a large group of national fraternities and sororities on campus. For the guys I reccomend you go SigEp at whatever college you choose and definetly at FAU. As far as the nightlife goes, you are 10 minutes from downtown Delray, 25 minutes from downtown Fort Lauderdale, and 45 min from South Beach. As well, the Mizner area in East Boca has great bars for the college crowd. The women are top notch South Florida talent. No guy would be dissapointed !Ratings
