My Tufts University Review
Although students at Tufts are quick to brag about the food selections on campus (yes, seriously), there is a lot more that is worth noting. Statistics point towards students at the university being particularly satisfied with their choice of university. Over 80% of graduates report that they would choose Tufts again if they had the choice, which is a comparatively high number. There are also rumors on campus that students are some of the happiest, friendliest, and most approachable.
It isn’t all fun and games at the university though. Students take their studying seriously, which contributes to the school’s prestigious reputation. Faculty are also known for being ready and willing to help students.
Recognized both nationally and internationally for its academic reputation, a degree from Tufts carries with it some weight. The majority of alumni (around 75%) report that having a degree from Tufts University has helped them either with getting into graduate school or finding a career.
My Tufts University Review
Tufts is perhaps best known for The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. The school is the nation’s oldest graduate school in international relations, and though it may sound irrelevant to the prospective undergraduate, it is actually quite significant. Out of this school comes an abundance of research, interest, and recognition, and undergraduates are privy to all of that attention. Additionally, professors who teach in the graduate school also teach undergraduate classes, ensuring an interesting and respectable education if that is your area of interest.
There is also a great deal more that goes on at Tufts that is less talked about. They have strong programs in liberal arts, and some of their most popular undergraduate programs are actually in the humanities. Their English program, for example, has several professors who’ve received international acclaim.
Tufts is a highly selective university, and most students find that their peers are as committed and interested in academics as they are themselves. In that community students will likely find both social and intellectual engagement.
My Tufts University Review
Located just outside of Boston in Medford, Massachusetts, Tufts University is an ideal school for prospective students looking to get the most out of their college experience and obtain a well-respected degree.
Tufts has an active on-campus social scene—there are around 150 different student groups on campus, and with a small student population (around 5,000 undergraduates), it is an excellent choice for students looking for a private research university. There is also an active academic community surrounding Tufts, given its proximity to other institutions such as Harvard, MIT, Boston University, and several other major universities.
In addition to an active academic and social scene, Tufts is also a well-respected school. Graduates generally find that their alumni status has helped them with getting into graduate school and/or finding work after college. Tufts is sure to provide students with the college years they have imagined with a degree that will help them in the future.
