Chowan Univerity is a great school. The 1-on-1 relationship between students and teachers allows students to get the most out of what they are learning. The academics are great and the professors are very receptive to their students. There is not always a lot going on, but that forms a very close bond between the students. Everyone knows each other and when there is an event in student life, most of the school shows up. This is not seen in big schools because there are so many opportunities that students take them for granted. Basically, this is a great school for people who like one-on-one academic support and developing close and lasting relationships. If you want to skip class every day and party with a bunch of random people then go to a large university. But if you want to feel important and more than just a number then go to Chowan.Ratings
