I am a recent nursing graduate from CTS, and a working adult mother. CTS was exactly what I was looking for at this stage in my life; a rigorous technical training program, close to home, with hands-on practical assignments. I am now scheduled to take my Virginia licencing exam and feel that I am well prepared for this challenge. I would highly recommend this school for adults like myself who are looking to break into the nursing profession on solid footing.

Pros: One of the top 20 State MBA programs. Professors are both top professionals & High caliber Ph.D's. Pharmacy School (Pharm.D) ranked several times in the top 10 in the U.S. Cons: Entry requirements high. Classes are demanding. Small College city.

A very small school, friendly staff and students. However, academic level is low and it is hard to compete when you graduate and look for a job. One interviewer told me that a Monroe College degree is not much higher than High School level.

I got my Mater's from UHCL in 2003. Clear Lake is home to the NASA Space Center and a stones throw from everything. Galveston is 30 minutes south, Downtown Houston is 20 minutes north. A slightly further day trip lands you in New Orleans, Dallas, Austin, Corpus and a number of other great places. It's a beautful campus, however, you must own a car or risk going stir crazy.

Went in to se a so called "counselor" last week. What a joke! The girl in finance was very nice, but the teacher that was in class was rude to her students bordering on obnoxious. School is WAY to expensive and they dont seem to know what they are doing. Stay very far away from this one!
