I'am so impressed with this Anesthesia program. There are very few schools who compare as far as the dedication of the professors go to the students and the credentials of the professors; most of them are anesthesiologists, or doctoral prepared as well as a pharmacist that teaches our pharmacology courses. All I have to say is that watch for this school in the future! I couldn't have made a better choice!

"Ithaca is more rural than anything I'm used to. You'll soon grow accustomed to it. On the flip side, the quality of student life at Cornell is great partly due to our location. Because Cornell is in a more rural area, the focus of both the students and the surrounding community is on Cornell. Students don't go off and get lost in the city for the weekend - they stick around and do things at Cornell. People are here because they want to be here."

This school is a total joke and a waste of a whopping $25,000! You get practically nothing out of your education here and youll have absolutly no fun. The books are about $300 per MONTH and they refuse to let you know your books ahead of time so that you can buy them elsewhere. Most of the teachers have very little college education and have no idea how to teach. The classes are incredibly boring and out of 3 years of college---Ive had the worst teachers and classes here. Its terrible and the administration is even worse. They screw everything up. If you have transfer courses, youll actually have to "sit out" during those (meaning not go to any classes for up to 8 months) and they make you pay for those months that you are not in class! They curriculum constantly changes and therefore can add to the time you must spend there. They financial aid gets very messed up...nooone working in there can even type worth a darn.On top of that....the school is accreditated but many of the programs are not! I also found out that many employers look down on this school and prefer grads from U of L or JCC.

The Princeton social scene almost defies description. During the first few weeks, you and your 15 new friends from your RCA group, OA trip or whatever else will probably spend a lot of time chasing phantom room parties, hosted by various student organizations . . . or random sophomores celebrating their new-found nonfreshmen status.

After a room party or two, your group may decide to walk out to the clubs on Prospect Avenue. Street life consists of the 10 active eating clubs, large mansions that, during the day, feed 75 percent of Princeton's juniors and seniors (the rest join the Brown or 2D food cooperatives, take on upperclass dining plans, or go independent). On Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, many of the clubs host parties, which often include DJs, bands and theme parties (there is bound to be an "'80s Night" on any given night). During Orientation Week, however, the clubs are closed to all students. While this may seem unfair, it's because the University wants to introduce your class to other social options. One new destination, which is conveniently on the corner of Washington Road and Prospect Avenue, is Campus Club, which used to be an eating club and is opening in the fall with new programming and renovated hang-out space for all students. What with all the cafés, theaters, ice cream shops, common-interest student groups and free events on campus, there's a lot to see and do. And for the freshmen who are not interested in the party scene: go back and read that last sentence again. There really is lots to do here, so don't panic if you feel like you're surrounded by crazy people. It won't take you long to find your niche, once you start looking.

In any event, The Street will open to freshmen at Lawnparties, which happen the first Sunday after classes begin. Every club gets a band or two, and thousands of students get dolled up in their preppy best and walk up and down The Street listening to music, playing volleyball, throwing Frisbees, catching some rays and just generally having fun.

Stanford University is a residential teaching and research university. About 6,200 undergraduates and about 4,350 graduate students live on campus, allowing for a blending of academic and residential life. Undergraduate campus housing is guaranteed for four years for entering freshmen. Approximately 95 percent of all undergraduates registered at the home campus live in on-campus housing, with 5 percent residing at overseas campuses or the Bing Stanford in Washington Program.

The undergraduate housing system includes 78 very diverse residential facilities, including academic-focus, language and culture, and cross-cultural houses; student-managed row-type houses; apartments; suites; and traditional residence halls. Faculty or senior staff serve as live-in resident fellows in residences that house first-year students, in academic-focus houses and in some houses for upperclassmen. About 13 percent of students join one of the 17 fraternities or 11 sororities recognized on campus. Seven fraternities and three sororities offer housing. Stanford Dining provides more than 3 million meals annually to undergraduate students and conference guests.

Housing on campus for graduate students consists of university-owned apartments, residence halls and spaces in cooperative houses. Graduate students also live off campus in university-subsidized apartments. Overall, about 55 percent of graduate students live in university housing.

University College (Univ) students come from all sorts of backgrounds. They have two things in comon: intellectual ability and the capacity and willingness to make the best of it by hard work. At the same time, they pursue their interests in a variety of other activities such as sport, music, drama, politics or journalism. If that is what you are looking for, University College is the place. We are a medium-sized college with a reputation for friendliness, informality and good welfare and support systems. Our sole criterion for admission is the ability and desire to make a success of studying at Oxford. We offer generous bursaries funded by our old members in addition to the centrally administered Oxford Opportunity Bursaries.

MIT's commitment to marrying education with the creation of knowledge provides a fertile setting for research that has spawned a host of scientific breakthroughs and technological advances. Past achievements include the creation of modern food preservation processes, the first chemical synthesis of penicillin and vitamin A, the development of inertial guidance systems, modern technologies for artificial limbs, high-speed photography, and the magnetic core memory that made possible the development of digital computers.
